We'd like to create a Pink Cow House Jam Band to have a forum to showcase all our talents. Because everyone has jobs and are all busy it is quite hard to get people together on the same days all the time so we would like to put a band together to pool songs, both covers and originals, together, so any of you who want to play original stuff, please send chord charts or links to myspace, so we can all learn them. And if you have favorite cover songs you do send a list. Ideally, we would like to have a couple of guitarist, bassists, drummers, vocals and keys and anything else anyone wants to join with so there will always be enough people to join and have fun playing with at any given time. If we put together a good playlist of lots of songs everyone basically knows it will be fun and easy to change up and everyone can enjoy jamming. If you think this sounds like fun and want to sign up just send a mail to cowjam@thepinkcow.com and some song suggestions!
As soon as we get some sign ups we will book a couple of dates to do things!

Come to down to the Cow for spoken word by Tokyo's premier performance poets, Marcellus Neally and Frank Spignese. Special music guests and surprise MCs will join the dynamic duo live onstage. With DJ Voice of Reason spinning. This is poetry by the people and for the people, urbane yet undeniably universal.
1000 yen with drink. Starts at 7pm and goes until the wee small hours of the morn. Free hugs for the first fifty people.
Sun., July 4th - Japanese Lounge Night!
This is a night to celebrate Japanese traditional music (usually Koto, Shamisen & Shakuhachi plus more) and experiment mixing it with modern western music. Everyone and all instruments and guests welcome to join or just watch! Come join us to enjoy and learn and experience more about Japanese instruments in a fun, relaxed way. We are happy to have music fans, anyone interested in Japanese/English language and Japanese culture, those who love to wear a Kimono but need a place to go in it...that means you, your friends and family. Meet new people and enjoy great food and drinks! It's also a open mic event, please bring your talent if to perform with our instruments!
